Nationals of Nicaragua are exempt from the 12-month bar if their Immigration and Refugee Board or previous pre-removal risk assessment decision was made between October 30th, 2020 and October 29th, 2021, inclusive. Nationals of Nicaragua with a decision made after October 29th, 2021, are subject to the 12-month bar.
