The program delivery instructions for work permits issued under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programs (LMIA exemption C18) have been updated to include instructions for the permanent Atlantic Immigration Class (referred to as the Atlantic Immigration Program) established through regulations on January 1, 2022.
While the Atlantic Immigration Pilot Programs closed on December 31, 2021, bilateral agreements with participating provinces allow IRCC to accept and process complete work permit applications and work permit extensions from foreign nationals endorsed under the pilot if they are received by March 5, 2022.
