Program delivery update: IL 3 – Designation of Officers and Delegation of Authority

The Instrument of Designation and Delegation (IDD) has gone through an annual review and has been updated (effective September 22, 2022). The update includes the following:
- correction of grammatical and typographical errors
- removal and addition of designated officers for the Centralized Network, the Domestic Network, the International Network, the Integrity Risk Management Branch, the Case Management Branch, the Resettlement and Asylum Strategic Operations Branch, and the Immigration Program Guidance Branch
- addition of the Domestic Network for responsibilities under IDD items 93, 94 and 123
- addition of the Integrity Risk Management Branch for responsibilities under IDD items 2, 23 to 25, 28, 29 and 31
- addition of the Resettlement and Asylum Strategic Operations Branch for responsibilities under IDD items 22, 81, 89, 107 to 110, 114, 115, 120, 138, 139 and 142
- removal of the delegation for Global Affairs Canada and consular officers for IDD Annex C #1 since IRCC has retained sole authority
- change of divisional names for the Case Management Branch
- addition of the Litigation Management Branch
- change to the name of the fees and removal of the returning resident permit fee under IDD item 152
- change to the loan cap from $10,000 to $15,000 to reflect an administrative change under IDD item 59
- removal of the Associate Assistant Deputy Minister of Operations and addition of the Assistant Deputy Minister of Operations under IDD items 66 and 105
