Program delivery update: Urgent Protection Program (UPP)

Updates were made to the Urgent Protection Program (UPP) PDI to reflect the launch of the streamlined immigration medical exam (IME). The updates remind processing officers to consider issuing a streamlined IME when its eligibility criteria are met to support accelerated processing for UPP cases.
Changes were made to the Admissibility assessment subheading in the UPP PDI.
