Program delivery update: New Canada–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) instructions for business persons

On July 1, 2024, provisions in the Canada–Ukraine Free Trade Agreement (CUFTA) allowing the temporary entry of business persons came into force, and new instructions have been developed for officers assessing these applications.
A new page has been created for each category of business person allowed for under these provisions, as well as a main page that contains information on spouses of business persons and other information that applies to multiple classes. The four categories of business person allowed under this treaty are
- business visitors
- intracompany transfers
- investors
- professionals
