Joint assistance sponsorship (JAS) refers to a joint undertaking by the sponsoring group and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to sponsor a refugee or refugees with special needs that will likely result in a longer or more difficult period of integration.
The JAS program delivery instructions have been updated and further detailed for use by IRCC officers.
