Supplementary Information
Budget 2022 provided $346.4M over four years starting in 2023-2024, and $86.4M ongoing for IRCC, Canada Border Services Agency and Canadian Security Intelligence Service to facilitate the timely and efficient entry of a growing number of visitors, workers, and students.
IRCC and partners received one-year funding for 2022-2023 through the 2021 Economic and Fiscal Update. Resources from this funding include 283 processing Full Time Equivalents (FTEs) and one program management FTE for the TR Program. Ongoing costs for these FTEs are being sought through this Treasury Board Submission so that these existing positions can be regularized.
