1
Phone Operations: From January to August 2025, the Client Support Centre received 226,000 fewer calls compared to the same period last year. However, with fewer calls answered, the answer rate is slightly lower in 2025. Furthermore, phone operations capacity went from 248 FTEs in 2024 to 217 FTEs in 2025 during the same period, contributing to a slightly lower overall output and answer rate.
Return to tablenote 1 referrer
2
Email Operations: From January to August 2025, the Client Support Centre processed more than 99,000 email inquiries compared to last year. This increase was driven by several inventory reduction strategies, such as Robotic Process Automation, CEBEC (Client Experience Branch Enquiry Classification) and the transition from two email platforms to one, completed on February 24, 2025.
Return to tablenote 2 referrer
3
MCMPS case intake equals case output, as every case is addressed without exceptions. Although the Federal Election temporarily affected the case processing volume in 2025 due to the integration of new members of Parliament, August volumes have returned to pre-election levels.
Return to tablenote 3 referrer
4
Crises: Call and email volumes have significantly decreased compared to last year, as the previous phone lines for Ukraine and Afghanistan have been integrated into the regular phone operations. One active dedicated phone line remains for the West Bank, and Gaza.
