Passport Client Service Survey for Passports Issued in 2019
Ottawa, April 7, 2020 – You may be invited to take part in a client service survey if the Government of Canada issued you a passport in 2019. If you applied for a passport in Canada, you may get a telephone call or an insert with your new passport inviting you to participate. If you applied for a passport outside Canada, you may receive an invitation with your new passport.
About the survey
To improve our services, the Government of Canada is collecting feedback from randomly selected clients who received a passport in 2019.
From March to June 2020, you may receive a telephone call asking you to take part in a survey about your experience with the Passport Program to see if our services met your expectations. Alternatively, you may receive an invitation with your new passport that allows you to take the survey online. The survey is being conducted by the research firm Advanis.
Completing the survey is voluntary. Your participation will be kept confidential. What you tell us won’t affect any past, current or future passport application.
The results of the survey will help us identify emerging trends and issues that you and other clients face and allow us to improve your experience.
Note the following:
- The invitation to take the online survey will be included with your new passport and will not be mailed separately.
- Unlike other Government of Canada client surveys, this passport survey will not be sent via email.
- We will not ask you for your passport details, such as your passport number or your personal financial information.
- The link to the survey will start with https://surveys.advanis.ca/passport2019.
