As Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, I am committed to increasing the proportion of Francophone immigrants outside Quebec. During National Francophone Immigration Week, I join with Parliamentary Secretary Matt DeCourcey, to highlight our Action Plan for Official Languages and other ways we are investing in the future of Francophone communities across the country.

Matt Decourcey (speaking French): Francophone Immigration Week gives us all a chance to learn about how Francophone immigration supports Canada’s culture, diversity and economy. We hope you will get involved in this week’s events and share your own stories and ideas on social media using #immfr.
