The onscreen image changes from black and white to colour. We see 2 students enter a Government of Canada building.

The image freezes, and the following text appears: “What is it like to be a student at IRCC?”

The image unfreezes, and the 2 students use their identification cards to go farther into the building. They then step into an elevator.

The image freezes once again, and we can see them in the elevator. The following text appears: “Follow us!”

The elevator doors close. The scene changes. We see the students enter their office and walk toward their respective desks.

The image is paused, and the following text appears: “Your work matters”.

The camera focuses on the female student, who is working at her desk. The image changes to black and white. The monitor of one of the students is in colour, and on it, we can see a video of Daniel Alfredsson taking the oath of citizenship.

The following text appears: “Make a difference here and around the globe”.

The image focuses on the student’s monitor. We now see a full-screen video of Daniel Alfredsson taking the oath of citizenship and receiving his certificate.

We see an aerial shot of new Canadian citizens (including Alfredsson) forming a gigantic maple leaf, while waving at the camera.

A graphic appears onscreen, and we see an airplane taxiing at an airport.

The image changes to a woman and man giving instructions to a newcomer. The image freezes, and the following text appears: “Help build Canada’s future”.

The shot changes to show IRCC volunteers, in yellow vests, helping newcomers.

A graphic appears onscreen, and we see 2 students on a small stage, speaking to a small crowd. We see shots of the crowd, and then one of the students on the stage, presenting information.

The following text appears: “Learn and develop your career”.

We see more shots of students interacting with one another and with departmental employees.

The scene changes, and we see a student using virtual reality equipment at a fair. The image freezes, and the following text appears: “Work on innovation projects where ideas are encouraged”.

We see a hand typing a password on a holographic keyboard to unlock a Government of Canada smart phone.

A graphic appears onscreen, and we see people playing bubble soccer. The image freezes, and the following text appears: “Work hard but have fun, too”.

Again, we see people playing bubble soccer. The shot changes to 3 people crawling under wire in an obstacle course.

The image changes to people celebrating after playing. The image zooms out, and we see it is playing on a laptop.

We see a shot of people talking in a boardroom. The shot then focuses on the 2 students from the beginning of the video. The image changes, and we see the 2 students interacting with the people in the boardroom.

Graphics appear onscreen, and we see the following text: “Your purpose starts here!” The text “Follow us @CitImmCanada” is shown beside the YouTube, Twitter and Instagram icons.

The URL “Canada.ca/IRCC-careers” appears at the bottom of the screen, and we see a mouse double-click the link.

The screen becomes white. We see the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada corporate signature and the copyright message: “Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, represented by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, 2019”.
