Open work permit for prospective Provincial Nominee Program candidates with a support letter from Manitoba

You may be eligible to apply for an open work permit under a temporary public policy if you meet all of the following criteria:

• You’re a temporary worker in Manitoba.
• You’ve been placed in an Expression of Interest pool under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program on or before December 31, 2025.
• You were given an open work permit support letter on or before December 31, 2025, as proof.

This open work permit allows you to work in Manitoba for up to 2 years.

This work permit is not for applicants who were already nominated by a province or territory under the Provincial Nominee Program.
