Ottawa - Please be advised that Yvonne Jones, Member of Parliament for Labrador, on behalf of the Honourable Jane Philpott, Minister of Indigenous Services, will announce investments for projects that provide traditional skills training, employment counselling, and cultural awareness support that help Inuit and Innu women in Labrador transition into the labour force.
MP Jones will also announce funding for Indigenous women who are victims of violence and trauma.
