2010 GCWCC Recognition Award

In a short ceremony held on September 28 at the Canadian Forces Grievance Board (CFGB) offices, the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign (GCWCC) manager account for the CFGB, Ms. Lynne Deachman, presented the Chairperson, Mr. Bruno Hamel, with the 2010 GCWCC Bronze Honour Roll. The award was presented to the employees of the CFGB in recognition for their outstanding contribution to the GCWCC.

Each year, every member of our small organization rises to the occasion and we all come together to make a difference in the lives of people in need from our community. This is especially commendable in the present times of economic crisis. This is an award for all of you, Mr. Hamel said to the employees gathered in the conference room.

CFGB's staff are now ready to launch the 2011 campaign which will begin on October 13 with a bake, crafts and book sale. Other fundraising activities, such as an ugly shirt contest and pizza lunch, are also scheduled for later in the month.
