What's New: 2011 Annual Report tabled in Parliament

April 27, 2012

The Canadian Forces Grievance Board's 2011 Annual Report was tabled in Parliament on April 27, 2012 by the Minister of National Defence, the Honourable Peter MacKay. Titled “Aimed High”, this is the Board's eleventh annual report and includes, for the first time, a table listing all 134 findings and recommendations issued last year by the Board.

The report also outlines the activities and achievements of 2011, a year during which the Board faced a shifting environment due to government wide efforts to control spending and the implementation, on a trial basis, of a new approach for the referral of military grievances to the Board. Notwithstanding these challenges, the Board’s staff and members remained committed to maximum operational efficiency, high quality of work and exemplary management practices.
