What's New: Joint DGCFGA/MGERC town hall meeting on the military grievance process
September 12, 2014
The Director General Canadian Forces Grievance Authority (DGCFGA) and the Military Grievances External Review Committee (MGERC) will host a joint town hall meeting on the military grievance process on Tuesday, 21 October 2014, from 09h00 to 12h00 at the Royal Canadian Air Force Officers Mess, 158 Gloucester Street, Ottawa.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to explain the roles of the DGCFGA and the MGERC within the military grievance process, including their distinctions. It will also allow for direct exchanges about issues and concerns related to complaint resolution, the new dispositions found in Chapter 7 of the Queen's Regulations and Orders, as well as trends and dissatisfiers identified by both organizations through their review of grievances.
All ranks are welcome to participate in this event. Particularly, personnel working at the Initial Authority level in the Ottawa region or with supervisory responsibilities are highly encouraged to attend.
