Office Retrofit Project Team Receive the 2018 Chairperson's Merit Award

Five employees of the Military Grievances External Review Committee received the Chairperson's Merit Award 2018 for their contribution to a retrofit project designed to reduce, modernize and optimize the Committee's office space, in line with the federal government's initiative Workplace 2.0.

Interim Chairperson Christine Guérette said this year's recipients "went well beyond the call of duty to ensure the success of our biggest project ever – the office retrofit." "These incredible employees made huge efforts to ensure the project in completed with minimum inconvenience to their colleagues," she added.

The five employees are, from Corporate Services, Deputy Chief Financial Officer and Director of Financial and Administrative Services, Julie Plourde, Procurement and Administration Officer, Kaylah St. Pierre, IM/IT Manager Éric Racine, IT Infrastructure Architect and Administration Stéphane Tubie, and from Operations, Team Leader Ted Benson.

The awards were presented during the all-staff annual meeting held this year at the Canada Museum of Science and Technology on June 14, as part of the Committee's celebration of the National Public Service Week.
