# 2014-133 - Course Report, Training Failure

Course Report, Training Failure

Case Summary

F&R Date: 2014–12–30

The grievor was ceased training on an occupation qualification course and recommended for a Compulsory Occupational Reassignment as a result of a failure to meet the required standard. While the grievor did not disagree that she failed to meet the standard on the course, she was not in agreement with the narrative on the course report and indicated that it did not accurately reflect her performance. She also noted several factual errors in the course report.

The Initial Authority (IA) agreed that there were some administrative errors in the course report and had them corrected. However, in regard to the narrative, the IA stated it was an accurate description of the grievor's performance as was depicted in her student file.

After reviewing the grievor's entire student file, her assessments, warnings, progress review boards and the course report itself, the Committee found that the narrative on the course report was an accurate reflection of the grievor's performance while a student on this course. Consequently, the Committee recommended the grievance be denied.
