Minister Hodgson to make funding announcements and give keynote addresses at Energy Innovation Forum and Atlantic Council Summit on the Future of Energy Security in Toronto

TORONTO — On October 29, 2025, the Honourable Tim Hodgson, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, will deliver remarks at the opening session of the Energy Innovation Forum in Toronto, co-hosted by the International Energy Agency and the Government of Canada. Minister Hodgson will also participate in a carbon dioxide removal announcement and announce support for a battery project.
He will also make a keynote address at the Atlantic Council Summit on the Future of Energy Security.
These engagements will take place ahead of the G7 Energy and Environment Ministers’ Meeting in Toronto, co-hosted by Minister Hodgson and the Honourable Julie Dabrusin, Minister of Environment and Climate Change.
