Operational highlights
- 2015-2019 - In Extended Docking Work Period (EDWP)
- 2015 - Completed an operation with the United States Navy in the Juan De Fuca Strait, located off of Vancouver Island, B.C.
- 2014 - Joined allied nations in for the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) training engagement
- 2013 - Worked with Special Forces and conducted the third Victoria-class submarine deployment as part of Operation Caribbe
- July 2012 - Became the first Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) submarine to fire a warshot Mk 48 heavyweight torpedo, sinking the ex-USNS Concord during RIMPAC, near Hawaii

- 2011 – Proceeded to sea under its own power following its EDWP
- 2005-2011 – Entered its EDWP in 2005 at Fleet Maintenance Facility Cape Breton, and completed it in 2011. It took longer than anticipated, as it was the first of its class to undergo the work.
- 2003 - Sailed into its new home port of Esquimalt, B.C., and began maintenance program
- 2000 - Commissioned into the RCN in December
