North Vancouver, British Columbia – The Minister of Fisheries, Oceans and the Canadian Coast Guard, the Honourable Jonathan Wilkinson, will attend the launch of the second Offshore Fisheries Science Vessel built at Seaspan Shipyards, in Vancouver. The vessel is being constructed for the Canadian Coast Guard under the National Shipbuilding Strategy, and will support important scientific research by Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
