Now that spring is here, the Canadian Coast Guard would like to inform the public that its seasonal search and rescue bases in Québec City, Tadoussac, Kegaska, Rivière-au-Renard, Havre-Saint-Pierre and Cap-aux-Meules will open on or around April 1, 2017.

The date is subject to change with no notice, as activities could begin before or after that period, depending on operational requirements or prevailing weather conditions.

The date is subject to change with no notice and the Coast Guard notes that icebreaking could begin after that date, according to operational needs or the prevailing weather conditions.
