A longstanding contributor to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria, Canada has supported the organization since its inception in 2002. The programs it supports have saved an estimated 70 million lives and reduced the combined death rate from these diseases by nearly two thirds (63%) in the countries where it works.
