The Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Small Business, Export Promotion and International Trade, will join Tatiana Clouthier Carrillo, Mexico’s Secretary of Economy, and Katherine Tai, United States Trade Representative, in Mexico City from July 7 to 8, 2021, to mark the first anniversary of the Canada-United States-Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) and to discuss opportunities to ensure the long-term growth and competitiveness of all 3 economies in their shared recovery from the pandemic.
The Honourable Marc Garneau, Minister of Foreign Affairs, will hold a media availability at the conclusion of his visit to Jordan, Israel and the West Bank. During his five-day visit, the Minister met with government officials and community leaders and expressed Canada’s support towards the goal of a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in the region.
