Sajjan, Minister of International Development and Minister responsible for the Pacific Economic Development Agency of Canada, participated in the 27th Canadian Conference on Global Health where he announced $325 million in funding for eleven projects with Canadian health partners.
Today, Canada announced $325 million in funding over 5 to 7 years for 11 projects with Canadian health partners. The announcement is based on the results from the Call for proposals - Health and Rights for Women, Adolescent Girls and Children, launched in July 2019. These projects will improve the quality of, access to and demand for integrated health services and information for women, adolescents and children at the community, health facility and system levels.
