Following the call for proposals under the Québec branché program, three projects in the Hautes-Laurentides region were selected (table of selected projects). These projects represent a total investment of $55,753,248, of which the Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada is each contributing an equal share of $30,127,194. As a result of these projects, broadband Internet will become available in 23 communities in Hautes-Laurentides. It is expected that 19,106 homes in the region will have access to broadband Internet services.

The Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada will each contribute $20,869 to the Cogeco Connexion project that was selected in the Mauricie region following the call for proposals under the Québec branché program. As a result of this $249,232 project, broadband Internet will become available in the municipality of Saint-Luc-de-Vincennes. It is expected that 136 homes (estimate from Cogeco Connexion) in the municipality will have access to broadband Internet services.

The Government of Quebec, through the Québec branché program, and the Government of Canada are each contributing $2,399,424 to the $5,952,053 TARGO Communications project to bring broadband Internet to 35 communities, 14 of which are in the Haut-Saint-Laurent Regional County Municipality (RCM).

Following the call for proposals under the Québec branché program, five projects in the Centre-du-Québec region were selected (table of selected projects). These projects represent a total investment of $18,369,850, of which the Government of Quebec is contributing $5,645,909 and the Government of Canada is contributing $2,146,293. As a result of these projects, broadband Internet will become available in 16 communities in Centre-du-Québec. It is expected that 8,791 homes in the region will have access to broadband Internet services.

Following the call for proposals under the Québec branché program, seven projects in the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region were selected (table of selected projects). These projects represent a total investment of $6,125,972, of which the Government of Quebec and the Government of Canada is each contributing an equal share of $3,220,284. As a result of these projects, broadband Internet will become available in 10 communities in Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean. It is expected that 3,658 households in the region will have access to broadband Internet services.
