Today, the Honourable Navdeep Bains, Minister of Innovation, Science, and Economic Development and Minister responsible for Western Economic Diversification, announced $1,825,640 in funding to OSI Maritime Systems Ltd. This investment will help upgrade and commercialize their navigation system technology to be compliant with North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) certification standards. It will also improve navigational safety as well as tactical situational awareness for naval submarines around the world.
