Jody Brennan has over three decades of experience working in various public-facing fields, including in the military, teaching, the Canadian public service, and the Alberta Court and Justice Services. Most recently, Jody has spent over half a decade at the Immigration and Refugee Board where she is currently serving as the Assistant Deputy Chairperson on the Refugee Appeal Division.

Today, the Governments of Canada and the province of Prince Edward Island (PEI) signed the National Strategy for Drugs for Rare Disease (DRD) agreement to invest over $10 million over three years to improve access to new drugs for rare diseases for PEI residents and to support enhanced access to existing drugs, early diagnosis, and screening for rare diseases.
Effective immediately, Canada is imposing sanctions against the following individuals and entities for undermining the peace, security and stability of the country and contributing to gross human rights violations.
Canada is imposing new sanctions under the Special Economic Measures (Iran) Regulations against 3 Iranian individuals and 4 entities that have engaged in destabilizing activities in the Middle East region and globally that undermine international peace, security or stability in a manner that is consistent with the policies of Iran.

Dr. Brendan Hanley, Member of Parliament for the Yukon, on behalf of the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs and Minister responsible for CanNor, announced an investment of over $1.6 million in five infrastructure projects to grow, preserve and supply food in the Yukon.
