The Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Jobs and Families and Minister responsible for FedNor, and Member of Parliament for Thunder Bay—Superior North, today announced a FedNor investment of $1,968,386 so the Northern Ontario School of Medicine University (NOSM University) can establish and expand training facilities in 87 municipalities and Indigenous communities across Northern Ontario.
Today, the Canadian Coast Guard welcomed personnel from Transport Canada’s aircraft services to the Defence Team. The program provides federal aviation services to various government departments, including managing and maintaining a civilian fleet of aircraft that support operational flights, environmental response, natural disaster response, and remote community outreach.
