The Canadian International Trade Tribunal today found that the dumping and subsidizing of certain pea protein, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China, have caused injury to the domestic industry. Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency. The complainants in this case were Nutri-Pea GP Inc. of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba, and Roquette Canada Ltd. of Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

On November 19, negotiators for the Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę Government Inc., the Government of the Northwest Territories, and Canada initialed the draft Final Self-Government Agreement for the Tłegǫ́hłı̨ Got’įnę in Ottawa.
The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance will provide an update on the government’s economic plan. She will be joined by the Minister of Public Services and Procurement and Quebec Lieutenant, Jean-Yves Duclos.
