The Town of Grand Falls-Windsor recognizes the importance of tourism to its future growth and sustainability. That is why it is improving the Corduroy Brook Nature Trail Network to create a high quality tourism product, enhance user experience and draw more visitors year-round. Upgrades include replacing the trail’s existing pedestrian walking bridge with an improved and safer one that will have a design life of 75 years. The 110-metre- long bridge is the cornerstone of the trail network and provides connectivity across a wetland area. The project also includes the construction of a new gazebo for the bridge.
