Recently I learned that the revitalization of Botterell Hall is now complete. The new Mitchell Hall is also now open, and it provides more space for the engineering department and helps students access important health and wellness services.

Since I was last here, this campus has been through some changes. I know the MacNaughton Building has had an overhaul as well as the McLaughlin Library and four other projects.

I would like to begin by acknowledging that we are gathered in Treaty Six Territory and the Homeland of the Métis. This land is a traditional gathering place for many Indigenous peoples whose histories, languages and cultures continue to enrich our country.
