The Honourable Peter MacKay, Member of Parliament for Central Nova, Regional Minister for Nova Scotia and Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, was joined today by the Honourable Labi Kousoulis, Nova Scotia Minister of the Public Service Commission and Minister of Internal Services, His Worship Mike Savage, Mayor of the Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Water Board Chair, Ken Meech, to announce that the Government of Canada has conditionally set aside up to $7 million under the New Building Canada Fund for the upgrade and expansion of the Aerotech Wastewater Treatment Plant in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
