March 6, 2015 - Campbell River, British Columbia On behalf of the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, the Honourable John Duncan, Minister of State, Chief Government Whip, and Member of Parliament for Vancouver Island North, announced today an investment of approximately $1.5 million to support Canadian Coast Guards assets that contribute to maritime safety: the Search and Rescue Station in Campbell River and eight lighthouses on Vancouver Island and B.C. Central Coast.
