I am pleased with the leadership shown by the Security Council and you, Mr. Secretary Kerry, and of course Mr. President Obama, in calling this meeting and extending an invitation to other countries.
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen.
And thank you for coming.
I have to be honest, I consider the fact that we have come together to discuss this topic a success in itself.
Good morning.
I am pleased to be here this morning.
And not just for the food.
It is an honour to join the world's leading experts in maternal, newborn and child health, to celebrate our achievements.
