Gerald Keddy, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of National Revenue and for the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), on behalf of the Honourable Rob Moore, Regional Minister for Newfoundland and Labrador and Minister of State (ACOA), today announced funding of more than $1 million for three projects with College of the North Atlantic (CNA) to enhance its programming, training capability and outreach capacity, which will benefit the province's tourism and manufacturing sectors.
The Honourable Greg Rickford, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources, will meet briefly with reporters to discuss the upcoming visit by Dr. Ernest Moniz, United States Secretary of Energy, to Ottawa on September 18-19.
