Public Works and Government Services Canada wishes to advise motorists of periodic lane reductions on the Chaudière Crossing today, Friday, August 15, 2014. These reductions will affect the Gatineau-bound lane, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Traffic will be permitted in both directions. One northbound lane will remain open at all times.
The third and final aircraft filled with military equipment for Ukraine left today as part of Canada's ongoing support to that country. One Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) CC-177 Globemaster III strategic airlifter departed from 8 Wing, Canadian Forces Base Trenton and will arrive in Ukraine over the weekend.
