The Honourable Pierre Poilievre, Minister of Employment and Social Development, along with Joyce Bateman, Member of Parliament for Winnipeg South Centre, today announced that 850 students in Manitoba, including 310 students across 234 organizations in Winnipeg, will participate in meaningful summer employment through a Canada Summer Jobs investment. Minister Poilievre made the announcement at the Manitoba Badminton Association which has hired a student to work in areas such as coaching, marketing, planning and development.
