Last week, Sinopec Daylight Energy Ltd., a division of the Sinopec Group, was ordered to pay $200,000 after pleading guilty to one count under the Fisheries Act. The charge relates to a release of process water, a substance deleterious to fish, into Marsh Head Creek.
