Municipalities in Chaudière-Appalaches to receive more than $64 million for priority infrastructure projects

Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness and Member of Parliament for Lévis-Bellechasse, the Honourable Steven Blaney, on behalf of the Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Denis Lebel, and the Minister of Tourism, Minister responsible for Chaudière-Appalaches Region, and Member of the National Assembly for Bellechasse, Dominique Vien, on behalf of Pierre Moreau, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Land Occupancy for the Government of Quebec, are pleased to announce that 30 municipalities in the Chaudière-Appalaches Region will receive $64,169,133 over the next five years under the new federal-provincial Gas Tax Fund agreement and from the Government of Quebec's contribution for the completion of priority infrastructure projects. This in addition to the $101,364,361 going to the 106 other Chaudière-Appalaches communities.
