On October 5, 2014, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) seized close to 6 kg of suspected cocaine in the suitcases of two travellers at the Montréal Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport. The suspected drugs were concealed in false-bottomed suitcases, but the border services officers defeated the scheme through their excellent intuition and using detection equipment such as X-ray scanners.
