LADNER, BC - The Honourable Kerry-Lynne D. Findlay, Minister of National Revenue and Member of Parliament for Delta-Richmond East, on behalf of the Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, announced today that the Government of Canada will invest in improvements at Ladner Harbour. This funding will provide a safer and more efficient working environment for local fishermen and harbour users.
The Honourable Gail Shea, Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, along with, Tilly O'Neill-Gordon, Member of Parliament for Miramichi, will share details surrounding plans to repair and improve several small craft harbours in Northeast New Brunswick.
Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada Peter MacKay, accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary Robert Goguen, today met with students of Moncton High School to discuss the dangers of cyberbullying and to raise awareness of measures the Government has taken to help keep Canadians safe from online crime.
