The Marine Biotechnology Research Centre (MBRC) will thus receive $900,000 funding and the Université du Québec à Rimouski's Institut des sciences de la mer (ISMER) $2,902,500 for the acquisition of specialized equipment. Together, these two projects will necessitate an overall investment of $4,225,000.
