The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of State for Canada Economic Development, today announced that the Regional County Municipality (RCM) of Domaine-Roy will receive $8,871,420 in non-repayable funding from the Government of Canada for restorations to the Village historique de Val-Jalbert. This financial contribution toward the nearly $20 million three-year project has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Community Economic Diversification Initiative ¿ Vitality, a measure established to support communities experiencing slow economic growth.
