Killarney and area residents will soon be able to get more active with a new multi-purpose recreation facility with $1.5 million in funding from Canada's New Government, the Province of Manitoba and the local communities, through the Canada-Manitoba Municipal Rural Infrastructure Fund (MRIF).
On behalf of the Honourable Beverley J. Oda, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Status of Women, the Honourable Chuck Strahl, Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food, Regional Minister for British Columbia, and Member of Parliament (Chilliwack-Fraser Canyon), today announced $316,167 in funding for Mint Records. The funds will enable this Vancouver record company to continue producing Canadian artists.
