Today, Tilly O'Neill Gordon, Member of Parliament for Miramichi, on behalf of the Honourable Diane Finley, Minister of Public Works and Government Services, announced that the Government of Canada has reached an important milestone in the Transformation of Pay Administration Initiative. The Public Service Pay Centre welcomed the final wave of 207 new employees, reaching its full staff complement of 550 employees. This milestone fulfills the commitment made by the Prime Minister in August 2010 to create 550 jobs in Miramichi by 2015 with the establishment of the federal pay centre.
