The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of Labour and Minister of Canada Economic Development, today announced that the Société de développement de l'Anse-St-Jean Inc. will receive $350,000 in non-repayable funding toward the development of new installations and reception facilities on Mont-Édouard. The project, intended to increase the tourism offering in the area of the Saguenay fjord, will necessitate an overall investment of $1,135,000 and result in the creation of nine jobs.
