The 61st edition of the Québec Winter Carnival takes place January 30 to February 15, 2015. The National Battlefields Commission invites everyone to stop by the Plains of Abraham Museum, just steps from Bonhomme's great big open-air playground. Woodman's Sea Products Limited pleads guilty to an offence under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999

On January 26, 2015, Woodman's Sea Products Limited was fined $100,000 after pleading guilty in Harbour Grace, Newfoundland, provincial court to an offence under the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA, 1999). The offence occurred in July 2012, and included the disposal of crab processing waste material contrary to section 125 of CEPA, 1999, which requires an Environment Canada-issued disposal at sea permit.
