[1] On July 5, 2001, health and safety officer Terry McKay conducted an investigation following a refusal to work by two park wardens in Riding Mountain National Park. On July 7, 2001, the officer rendered a decision of no danger under subsection 129.(7) of the Canada Labour Code, Part II. On July 12, 2001 Mr. Clement S. Labbe appealed and on July 16, 2001 Mr. Douglas Walker also appealed the decision.

[2] On April 8, 2002 Mr. D. Walker informed the appeals officer that he was withdrawing his appeal. On April 10, 2002, Mr. Labbe also informed the appeals officer that he was withdrawing his appeal of the above mentioned decision.

[3] As the appeals officer seized of this case, I confirm that Messrs Walker and Labbe have withdrawn their appeals and this case is closed.
