Backgrounder: Canada and Saskatchewan invest in nine infrastructure projects to build stronger communities

Joint federal, provincial, and project proponent funding through the Investing in Canada plan will support nine projects in communities across Saskatchewan.
The Government of Canada is investing more than $22.3 million towards these nine projects through the Rural and Northern Infrastructure stream (RNIS), Green Infrastructure stream (GIS), and the Community, Culture and Recreation Infrastructure stream (CCRIS) of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. The Government of Saskatchewan is contributing more than $17.7 million. Recipients are contributing more than $14 million and are responsible for any additional costs.
